Whether you’re in the workforce or a parent of a child who will one day be in the workforce, chances are you’ve fretted about what skills will be required in an increasingly automated, networked and data-driven world. Perhaps you’ve already had your income or employment disrupted by technology. There are many pressing policy questions to explore around how to prepare citizens for the future of work, and particularly about the education and training they need.

Canadian and international experts tackled these themes at the Queen’s International Institute on Social Policy in August 2018. This series highlights some of the analysis they shared at the conference.
