Valérie Lapointe is Associate Director of the Centre of Excellence on the Canadian Federation at the Institute for Research on Public Policy. She holds a PhD in Canadian politics from the University of Ottawa and did her postdoctoral studies in comparative politics at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
