Sheila North has served as the Grand Chief of the Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak, and worked as Chief Communications Officer for the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs and as an award-winning journalist for CTV and CBC. An advocate for missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls, she released the documentary 1200+ and is currently voicing episodes of APTN’s Taken in Cree.
