Seán McDonagh, SSC, is an Irish Columban missionary priest who worked for more than two decades in the Philippines. His book To Care for the Earth (1986) was one of the first theological books to address the ecological crisis. His most recent book is Fukushima: The Death Knell for Nuclear Energy? The Japanese Tsunami 2011 (Columba Press).
