Melanie Mason is a registered Métis midwife at the Victoria Youth Clinic who has been providing midwifery services to Indigenous and non-Indigenous families in Victoria and surrounding communities since July 2018. She is the Indigenous adviser and the co-chair of the Indigenous Midwifery Advisory Council at the Midwives Association of B.C.
