Kelly Gallagher-Mackay is a lawyer and independent education policy researcher. Her research career includes roles as an assistant professor at Laurier University, director of Research and Evaluation at the Future Skills Centre, and research director at People for Education. Her book, Pushing the Limits: How Schools Today Can Prepare Our Children for the Challenges of Tomorrow (with Nancy Steinhauer) was nominated for the Donner Prize for best public policy book in Canada. She has two children attending school in person, for now, at a public high school.
