Joey Comiso is a senior research scientist at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. He has developed algorithms for the retrieval of sea iceĀ concentration, surface temperature and clouds, and was chief scientist in numerousĀ NASA aircraft missions in the Arctic and Antarctic.
