Dennis Gruending is an Ottawa-based author and blogger and a former member of Parliament. He has worked for three newspapers and for CBC Radio as a reporter, producer and morning-show host. He has written or edited seven books, including Great Canadian Speeches, a bestseller. He is currently working on another book, tentatively titled Speeches That Changed Canada.
