One of the things that makes the spread of the Zika virus so worrying is the fact that scientists know relatively little about it.  This is making the task of communicating its risk extremely difficult for governments and intergovernmental organizations. We caught up with John Rainford, director of The Warning Project, to discuss the threat posed by the Zika virus and the complexities of communicating its health risks.
