Ron Melchers

Ron Melchers has been a professor of criminology at the University of Ottawa since 1983, specialising in research, statistics, evaluation, policy analysis and evidence reliability assessment. He is associate editor of the Canadian Journal of Criminology and Criminal Justice, and serves on the editorial board of the European Journal of Criminology, the academic advisory committee of Statistics Canada’s Centre for Justice Statistics and the research advisory committee of the Police Sector Council.
