Mark Ungrin, PhD, is an interdisciplinary biomedical researcher at the University of Calgary and an associate professor in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, affiliated with the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Alberta Children’s Hospital Research Institute. Funded by all three tri-agencies, he provided input to Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada on implications of COVID-19 in the first months of 2020.
