Kelly Bronson is a Canada Research Chair in Science & Society at the University of Ottawa. She has a background in biology but now is a social scientist studying the societal and ethical implications of controversial technologies – from GMOs to big data and AI. She has published her academic work in national (Canadian Journal of Communication) and international (Big Data and Society) journals. Her book is on data and AI in agriculture and is titled, The Immaculate Conception of Data.
