The parliamentary session is winding down, but the Canadian debate over electoral reform is just revving up. The Liberal government has said it would like MPs to hold town hall meetings in all 338 ridings this summer, in order to get feedback from Canadians on how to improve our voting system. Our contributors will also be sharing their research and expertise on electoral reform, and not just from the perspective of which system works best. Theyâll examine some of the underlying factors that shape how our votes are translated into power in the House of Commons, and they will delve into issues of constitutionality and gender balance. You will find links to all the latest articles on electoral reform on this page, as we publish them.
