As Canada celebrates its sesquicentennial, it seems an appropriate time to consider what our policy-makers, researchers, and legislators should be focusing on today that will be critical to the lives of citizens in 2067 and even beyond. What are the opportunities we should not miss, or the decisions that could negatively affect our well-being 50 years from now? Over the course of 2017, our contributors will engage in long-term thinking in a range of public policy areas.
