Karen Ross is project manager for pesticides and toxic substances, at the Ottawa office of Équiterre, Quebec’s largest environmental NGO. Karen has a PhD from the Department of Geography at Western University, with a focus on the political economy of agrarian change and rural development in communities highly dependent on the production of one agricultural commodity. Karen is co-owner and farmer at Cadence Ecological Farm, in the east end of Ottawa.
