Rachel Kiddell-Monroe has worked with Médecins sans Frontières (MSF) since 1992, heading emergency humanitarian missions in various countries in Africa in the 1990s and in Latin America from 1999 to 2003. In Canada, she led MSF's Access to Medicines Campaign until 2007, and she is currently president of the board and senior policy adviser of Universities Allied for Essential Medicines (www.uaem.org)
