Colette Brin is a professor at Université Laval’s Département  d’information et de communication and director of the Centre d’études sur les médias. She recently co-edited Journalism in Crisis: Bridging Theory and Practice for Democratic Media Strategies in Canada (2016), and she served on the advisory panel for the Public Policy Forum’s report, The Shattered Mirror (2017).
