Prosper M. Bernard Jr. was a Fulbright Visiting Research Chair at the University of Ottawa in 2010. He currently teaches international and comparative politics at the City University of New York, and he is the author of External Pressure, National Response: Industrial Adjustment in Canada since the 1970s.
