Valerie Galley is of Ojibwa and Canadian ancestry and a member of the Nipissing First Nation. She has worked as a strategist, policy analyst, researcher and writer on Indigenous priorities. She was intergovernmental liaison and adviser to the Chief for the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations.
