Nicholas Shrubsole is a graduate of the Joint Laurier-Waterloo Religious Diversity in North America doctoral program where he completed his dissertation, Religion, Land and Democracy in Canadian Indigenous-State Relations. He is currently a lecturer in humanities, religion, and cultural studies in the department of philosophy at the University of Central Florida, and director of the Humanities and Cultural Studies program.
