Carissima Mathen is vice dean (academic) and associate professor of law at the University of Ottawa and a former constitutional litigator. Her scholarly research includes the separation of powers, judicial review and the nature of criminal wrongdoing. She is one of Canada’s most active legal commentators, and is featured regularly on television, radio and in print.
