As part of my analysis of ethnic enclaves and political participation in Multiculturalism in Canada: Evidence and Anecdote, I broke out the main visible minorities in the 33 ridings with more than 50 percent visible minorities, and the 44 ridings with more than 20 percent religious minorities. From an enclave perspective, most ridings have a mix of different groups, requiring candidates to reach out to more than one group in order to be successful.
